We kicked of with User Journey Map workshop for all the main personas like Wrap Line or Paper Machine Operators. Since the team was remote we used InVision as a collaboration tool.
Workshop helped us to identify the biggest problems and opportunities for improvement.
The team had an opportunity to revise all user steps and check if the application meets his needs. Sometimes we are getting lost in the details, this exercise helps to see how the things are connected.
This is how the typical old desktop client looks like. The challenge is replace it with the web version in way that all necessary data are available and presented in a logical way.
This is how the web version looks like for now. There is still long way to go but we made a great progress.
